Fantasy Football got its start with season long leagues with friends, family, co-workers or even random people. These can be done in live drafts, online drafts, or having the computer selecting people for you. Then there is the DFS craze that allows people to form lineups for individual weeks which allows them to win instantly. Well RedraftHero.com is combining these features and allowing groups of friends, random people, or co-workers to have season long leagues, but allow people to redraft or redo their teams each week. Say week 1 you want Jordy Nelson against the Bears as it is a great matchup but week 2 he could be playing the Seahawks. You have two completely different matchups here and RedraftHero allows you to make your team according to who you think has the best matchup each individual week. The points combine from week to week and you accrue a total at the end of the year and whoever has the most points wins. Now it is going to take more time than your average yearly league as you have to decide between every player in the league vs. the 13 or so players on your normal roster. There are several pros as I will go into, but this combines the best of both DFS and season long leagues and makes for a much more entertaining season
These are players that I believe will have a drop in production from last year and are questionable targets for RedraftHero.com throughout the season, be hesitant on adding them to your watchlist unless their salaries drop considerably.
The Tennessee Titans (2-14 record and forth in the AFC South) were tied for the league’s worst record with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They struggled at the quarterback position, and saw some of their playmakers produce good numbers. The defense struggled to stop opposing offenses, which put pressure on their offense to come from behind in most games. With just two wins to show for the entire 2014 season, the Titans had the second overall pick in this year’s draft, where they chose to go with former Oregon Duck Marcus Mariota. Now, headed into the 2015 season they have a new quarterback, some key free agent additions on the defensive side of the ball the Titans looks to build around Mariota.
In Week 1 Bridgewater is going against the 49ers who have had a great defense for about the last 7-8 years, but I think a regression is in store here. They took a big hit now with the losses of Chris Borland, Patrick Willis, Justin Smith, Perrish Cox, Chris Culliver and Ray MacDonald all on defense, they are due for regression.
Rodgers is at the top of the list for the top fantasy quarterback of 2015. In 2014, Rodgers had a three-headed monster at wide receiver that featured Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and Davante Adams. With the trio having another year with Rodgers under their belt there is no reason to doubt the dangerous fantasy potential each week.
