The Miami Dolphins (8-8 record & third in the AFC East) were one of the best offenses in the league last season, but the defense struggled to win more games. Tannehill finally took the jump to the next level, and was a top 10 quarterback, along with the emergence of running back Lamar Miller and rookie receiver Jarvis Landry. On the defensive side of the ball, the Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins made a big impact all over the field. The biggest struggle for the Dolphins was in their defensive backfield, where there was inconsistency. This offseason, the team added quality impact players on both sides of the ball. With the key additions, the Dolphins are primed to breakthrough in the AFC East and finally emerge as a playoff competitor.

The Seattle Seahawks (12-4 record and first in the NFC West) were one offensive mistake away from beating the Patriots in the Super Bowl. With one of the best defenses in the NFL last season, the Seahawks continued their reign on the NFC West. On offense, they were one of the best running teams in the league, with both Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch. This offseason we saw the team make a blockbuster trade for All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham. The Seahawks also spent a lot of money resigning Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner, and should help fortify the franchises success for the near future.
